Dear friends of the gallery, we are very happy to invite you to the opening of ‘Shadows might dance’ by gallery artist Jessica Backhaus at Fotografie Forum Frankfurt on Friday, 30 January 2026, at 7 pm. The exhibition runs from 31 January to 26 April 2026. It is the artist’s most comprehensive exhibition to date. It presents works from eight series as well as numerous books from the past twenty-five years. Her explorations, collages, and carefully composed still lifes offer a previously unparalleled encounter with Backhaus’s work, which unfolds at the intersection of photography, painting, and object art.
