It is with a heavy heart that we must share the news of the passing of Bertien van Manen (1935-2024). The Bertien van Manen Foundation and her family have issued an “In Memoriam” (please follow the link provided below).
Bertien joined the gallery 16 years ago in what must have been a big leap of faith. The gallery was young, she was a highly respected, influential artist, a star already back then. She became a companion, a mentor and most importantly, a very good friend. We will miss her dearly.
